Fun fact: Mark Webber is the only F1 driver to have had his teammate win the WDC 4 times without ever finishing in the top two himself, the next highest being 2 times.

Barrichello has had his teammate win the WDC 6 times (Schumacher ×5, Button ×1), Bottas 4 times (all Hamilton) and Perez 4 times (all Verstappen), but they have all finished in the top 2 once (in case of Perez) or twice.

The 5 drivers whose teammate(s) won the championship twice, who also never finished in the top 2, are Fisichella, Berger, Cevert, Ginther, and Collins.

On the opposite end, Nico Rosberg (both times Hamilton) and Prost (Lauda and Senna, once each) have had their teammates being champion twice each, and they finished 2nd to them both times. Of course, they also went onto pick up WDCs of their own.

The meme is a stick

Finally cracked and upgraded to the 10 chips (bucks) a month subscription because I apparently forgot to run the Lopen's code for 9 days straight last week, lol. I've had a pretty light workload this month at work, so I might have a look at adding some cool new features I had stored away in the back of my mind, but that's subject to how lazy I may or may not be feeling.

Kimi Antonelli is now confirmed to be the championship leader till at least Spain 2026, which means he'll have led the championship for 77 days, longer than Leclerc and Russell have each done so far in their careers, behind only the 4 WDCs and Oscar Piastri on the current grid
