Intervals for fluid changes

Intervals for fluid changes

Hello,

I recently bought a 2025 trailsport with 35k miles and am trying to keep up on the maintenance. I was planning on changing the transmission fluid, rear differential fluid, and transfer case fluid soon.

My question is… on the carfax it states that the fluids were checked and “recommended maintenance performed” can I expect any of the fluids to have been changed thus far in the vehicles life?

I know that they are all supposed to be changed around 30k miles but could I expect them to have been completed at the 27k service record shown on the carfax? Thank you.

Joined the Club… Now what?

2025 Trailsport

Coming from a 2007 Frontier. I’m hoping this will last me a long time and fill the gap between utility and comfort. I’ve started to do the initial set up but am looking for suggestions on how to make the most of the vehicle, or any cool tips and tricks. Thank you!

I plan to change the transmission and differential fluid (how hard is that to DIY?) along with the air filters here soon and give it a nice detail.

Which ridgeline to go with?

Hello,

I’m coming from a 2007 Nissan Frontier and looking to get into a 2022-23 ridgeline RTL-E. I have these two great options but would appreciate some guidance.

The truck in the pictures is a 2022 Black edition with 66k mi and listed for $30k. It is 1 owner, no accidents. The only thing that is making me hesitant is that it was registered in NY and a commercial vehicle and there are no service records on the car fax. Also there is an incompetent recall for the rear frame rust potential. It also had the camshaft and control arms were replaced.

The other truck I’m looking at is a 2022 RTL-E with 45mi for $32k. 1 owner, clean carfax and It has an extensive service history and it coming from a reputable dealership. I don’t really have a preference in cosmetic wise, just hoping to get an opinion if the recall and lack of service records is too risky

Help identifying part/issue

Hey! I noticed this part on my 2007 frontier rusted out has a little movement to it. I was looking for help identifying the part and whether or not this is an issue? The other side is completely intact with no rust on it. Thank you!
