USA questions in UK test??

Just completed the home Mensa test, but noticed a few flaws…one of the questions uses American measurements (yards, inches etc) which is odd for a UK test…but then later there is a question that if I assume the test is made for USA market then what’s the answer to this question;

“Bad” means the opposite of: (and then there are about 20 options including “good” and “swell”…if it’s an American test then either fit 🤷‍♀️

Does anyone else think the IQ tests are flawed by this cultural difference?? Shouldn’t it be written taking into account the target person who is completing it, the language, colloquialism, and with the rapid advancements and changes to English language through social media I don’t know how the test is going to take this into account as it is presently.

Any thoughts?

Exploiting Trainees?

So when I did my therapy training I had to do 450 hours of 1:1 client work provided to clients for free, mostly at charities. However, I’ve recently been seeing placements advertising for trainee therapists, where the client pays between £25-65 per session! The trainee doesn’t get paid anything though. This seems to be profiteering off unpaid labour! It’s exploitive right? What do others think?
