Dublin or Maastricht?
Hi everyone,
I’m currently trying to decide between two university options: Maastricht University and Dublin universities for Law.
I have already confirmed my place at Maastricht University, but I still have time until 31st August to pay the tuition deposit, meaning I can still change my decision if needed.
The issue is that I am also waiting for Dublin, but their decisions will only be released around 26th August. This makes everything quite stressful and tight in terms of timing, especially regarding accommodation and planning.
My main goal is to study Law, with the aim of potentially building a legal career in the UK or internationally in the future.
Right now I feel stuck because Maastricht is already secured but not fully final until I pay, Dublin will reply very late at the end of August, student housing is difficult to arrange last minute, and I need to make a decision within a safe timeframe.
I’m unsure whether it is better to fully secure Maastricht or take the risk and wait for Dublin.
If anyone has experience with Maastricht University (Law),Dublin universities, or student housing and timing in either place, I would really appreciate any honest advice on what you would do in my situation.
