We got our first bearded dragon today! He seems to be pretty shy as of right now, but he ate a piece of collard green out of my hand! I have a few questions, and any advice would be helpful! Just please be kind, I’m learning
-I have crickets and quite a few different greens to feed him right now, as well as supplement powder. How many crickets should I give him? Just one time a day or multiple times a day?
-is it okay that the humidity is lower on the warm side?
-I plan on the dome/basking lamp during the day as well as the uvb linear, the other dome is a heat emitter that I’m planning on using at night since our room gets pretty cold at night
-what’s the best way to socialize?
(Pics: full enclosure, baby (was told 85% chance that it’s a boy), lamps, cool side thermometer halfway up tank, warm side thermometer halfway up tank.

Adding:
-shade dweller 12in light
-artificial plants etc
-another water bowl
-heating source (either heat emitter or heat pad unsure which one)
-another hide

We don’t know what size baby we’re getting yet, so that will determine what we do with which hide etc (we are going to a reptile expo on the 17th)

I have paper towels down for now to monitor for the first couple of weeks, then switching to coconut husk.

I have been doing so much research, but any suggestions or knowledge is welcome!! Thank you guys :)
