Hi!

I’m thinking about attending defcon for the first time this year. I’ve looked at ticket prices and travel and it would land at around 1400$ without hotel/airbnb.

This is already quite a big expense, so my question to you is, how much would it cost for the stay there? I checked fontainbleu and it was something close to 400$ a night, which is veeery expensive and would deter me from attending.

Is there something cheaper available that wouldn’t hugely impact my experience? By impact my experience I’m mostly thinking about distance to the venue as that would increase the travel expense and the general level of comfort.

Any additional tips are welcome! I’m hoping I’ll be able to attend and looking forward to finally meeting likeminded people!
