Starting… Again

Hi Everyone,

I’m starting my reef tank back up again after moving house. For transparency, I have owned this tank for about a year now but never took proper care of it (never to the detriment of fish health but I let algae grow too much and never carried out consistent testing). Now that I’m in my new house I want to change that.

Before I do move the tank, can people offer some advice (even if the advice seems incredibly basic, it’s all welcome) ? I want to ensure that this time round, my water parameters are consistent. So I have bought new water from a local fish shop and will be using that.

Bit of a bloodbath

Well chaps (and chapettes)

These past couple of days have been a bit of a bloodbath. Tech as a whole has seen a massive drawback. I can’t help but say that I’m glad.

Despite the fact that market growth, especially in the Tech sector, has been backed up by earnings I do believe that the rise was becoming unsustainable. What I’m hoping for is that this drawback brings the sector back to healthy valuations. This allows sustainability and consistency in the sector. Let’s see how well these massive CapEx budgets benefit companies. When we see these benefits, all Hut 8 shareholders can sleep soundly knowing that our customers have got the cash to back themselves up.

With that in mind, I see a great opportunity here for potential investors to jump into Hut. Fundamentally, nothing about Hut has changed. The stock price is simply following the trend of these big players. And rightfully so. They are our future customers.

I’d love to hear everyone’s opinions. Do you see this drawback as a permanent impact? Does it make you feel any different about Hut itself? And if so, why?
