Hi guys an underground shift sparky here from WA

I’ve always been intrigued in making the move over to mining in Canada

Is such a route feasible for an Australian A licence holder? Is there decent employee sponsorships and good wages?

Any advice appreciated

5 years experience and I’ve always been interested in some sort of sponsorship to underground mining in Canada but have no real idea and about the feasibility, wages or route for such an opportunity

Does anyone know anyone who has made a similar move and was it worthwhile?

Moved my family to Perth from UK a few years ago, love it what a place.

We are building our first home in Alkimoss, all going well no problems, but looking for some advice:

I work FIFO, and I’m incredibly nervous about leaving my family alone once we move into our home. I’ve had a fair bit of scaremongering from people warning me about home invasions and robberies. 2 questions-

1. Can anyone give me good advice for home security measures, other than the obvious cameras and lights, our home is going to be an end terrace with the fence facing the public pavement, what can I legally do to make our fence less appealing to Jump etc

2. Is home invasions as bad as people make out?

Any insight and advice is greatly appreciated
