This is my first time in Valencia. I'm traveling alone and I'd like to visit local beaches. I'm curious about safety, as I didn't find any information about beach lockers. What are my options to go for a swim and not leave my things unattended? Probably I can ask a random family to take a look, but still...

I bought a waterproof phone case and I was thinking about going there without my documents etc, only my phone, keys and a towel. What time is the best to go to the beach too?

A few weeks ago, a German course I registered for was cancelled due to low enrollment. They promised a full refund, but it has been over three weeks and I haven't received anything.

When I provided my IBAN (which is a valid SEPA account, though not a German one), they refused to process the refund, claiming: "However, the IBAN provided does not belong to a German bank account. Unfortunately, it is not organizationally possible for us to make repayments to foreign accounts. Therefore, we can only transfer the amount back to the same account from which the original payment was made.".

The IBAN I provided is the exact same account from which I made the original payment via Wise. I have sent them the payment confirmation multiple times, proving the money originated from that account, but they started ignoring my emails.

UPD: I was about to send a long email with all the information and "IBAN discrimination", and at the same time, I finally received a response. They mentioned that they did a transfer and that I need to wait 1-2 days. The timing is funny, maybe they read Reddit too 👀

I visited Köln with my mom a few days ago. We were taking pictures near the Dom, and a few times, different groups of people approached to take a photo of both of us (using my phone). They were pretty persistent and were saying things like, "You are very cute together, let me take photos," for a few minutes.

Were they trying to steal my phone, or am I just overthinking?
