Timeline of Gen Z slang?

listen. I’m a teenager who has been very exposed to Gen Z slang and I think I mostly keep up, but I’m writing something that takes place in late 2023 early 2024 and I wanna use slang from when it’s from. does anyone have a timeline of when things got more or less popular or something similar?

Watermelon nitrate risk?

I love watermelon so much and I eat it all the time, but I’ve never seen one with a spot like this (it was a lot bigger and I already cut it out before I took this photo)

when I was looking it up it said it could be a sign of too much nitrate, but I did the test with the cup in the water and it seems fine?
I already cut that bit out and I’m not gonna eat it, but I have ocd and I am quite scared to eat this can someone reassure me it’s okay? Or tell me if it’s not?

I also think I saw a white thing in the middle of the spot? Again I threw it away and it’s been sitting in my fridge while I’ve been too scared to eat it for a day or two
