Missed connection at wook city
We met at Field of Vision, talked for a while, and I thought you were incredibly cute.
Unfortunately, somewhere between the lasers, the mountains, whatever was happening to the sky, and my brain becoming convinced that Stu was personally conducting the rotation of the Earth, I completely forgot that humans have developed a very useful phrase called:
“Hey, can I get your number?”
Instead, I smiled, said goodbye, wandered off into the psychedelic wilderness, and approximately six hours later had the profound realization that I am an idiot.
So now, after achieving temporary communion with the universe but apparently not basic social competence, I am posting a missed connection on Reddit.
If you remember the socially awkward wook whose pupils were receiving transmissions from another dimension but who otherwise seemed nice, shoot me a message.
Apparently I can stare directly into the infinite cosmic machinery of existence, but asking an attractive woman out face-to-face remains a bridge too far.
