Ninjago TikTok Scam.
I wanted to share my recent experience with a seller I encountered on the TikTok app. For the longest I've steered away from sellers on the app. But with my recent Interest in Ninjago again, collecting and building multiple sets for fun. I decided to give it a chance.
I came across his post stating he was selling his collection to save for a college fund. He posted pictures of images like the DX Lloyd, and many sought-after sets he had in his possession. His posts seemed legit. So I shot him a DM. I wanted to know if he had any of the OG Pilot minifightes as I currently had Jay, and Zane and wanted Cole and Kai.
His response was short stating “Yes I Do”, I then asked if he had a price for those figures along with any DX’s. He told me he had all except Kai, and then asked how much he would sell them for. He gave the price of 250. Along with Lloyd DX.
I asked if I could pay next Wednesday, and for photos of the Lloyd. He sent photos but asked if I could pay half today, and he'd hold onto them and send them out next Wednesday. I asked if I could send 125 that day, and 125 the following Wednesday.
I have him my shipping address and asked for his Zelle, and sent the 125. A day passed and I noticed he blocked me. I reached out with the phone number he gave me and he played dumb to me asking why he blocked me and said he didn't have a TikTok Account. I sent him all the information from our transaction and even reached out to him on a second account after I was blocked and asked why he blocked me. Hours later he blocked me only second account and viewed my profile with his secondary account. I'm going to dispute the charge but. I wanted to create thus Post to spread awareness of this event! Please be careful! And if anyone could help with reaching out to this seller it would be appreciated!
