In two weeks i'm starting music/pianolessons at the local academy.

Two years ago I started playing on my own with Simply Piano. Is it a good idea to pick up again, to prepare?

I'm afraid it learnt me some "bad habits" (not the "standard" chords, for example). Will it do more harm than good?
