Think I've been catfished for almost 2 years
Im gonna keep this short but I met a woman online, we live in different countries and we've been talking everyday for the entire time, but I've always felt in the back of my head that her intentions were to just lead me on for attention.
I live in Denmark and she lives in Sweden, she has been travelling a lot with her friends and family recently even went to Germany for a week
But she doesn't want to travel to see me.
We met under not exactly safe for work circumstances, so when we started talking daily I didnt think much about her not wanting to share any personal details like her name or where she was from but now I just feel like an idiot for trying to rationalize it still
She hasn't told her friends or family about me and according to her she doesn't have any social media at all.
And last week she told me she wanted to stop being in this "situationship" with the reasoning that my family will need me because of a health issue with my dad, and that because of that we effectively would never have a chance for a future together.
Honestly I dont know whether to think she is catfishing me, playing me for attention or if its all really just a complicated and messed up situation
But any advice I could get would be immensely helpful.

Also FYI I dont know how important this is, but I've also received childhood photographs from her when she was visiting family last summer
