Tips for farm metal slimes with no metal weapons

If you are interested in this thread, let's feel the pain together. We are missing metal weapons either because you came late or you had no luck (Im here for the latter T_T).

We, in this boat, know we are very blessing dependant to reach a decent score, specifically the one with double attacks, with either diagonal hits buffs or tripple. And unfortunatelly blessings are seeded, so once you enter the stage they will remain the same until you clear the stage...

HOWEVER, there is one factor that affects this a bit and can help you change them: your equipment. As blessings in them can affect blessings you receive at the start.

So, I have done some FEW testing runs, that has worked for me, and I would like you to try to confirm. I have removed ALL equipment that provides a blessing, NO accessories, NO weapons with blessings, NO memories with blessings, except Silver Claws that provides Avenger's Accelarate (check images). With this, I have noticed all the elemental blessings not showing up and every single time, I found a combination that has double hits.

In addition use any spear weapon you may have. Im using the best one I have with no blessings.

Also, try using different "path" combinations when selecting the blessings, choosing the 1st out of the 3 will probably give you different options than choosing the 2nd, so its a matter of trying different combinations.

Please try it out and let me know if this works for you. Also any other tip for us poor metalless questers, all is welcome

What is it with the 5 mimics in the teleporters?

Nice when they are 5 sweet and creamy chests, but when they are mimics, what? Are we supposed to kill them? They hit hard, provide no treasure and no blessings and take time, so, is it better to run off instead?

F2P suggestions and small tips to take more advantage of resources

Hey guys. I was thinking of making a post so we could all share "best practices" or small "logical tips", not necesarily like the guides we have seen in the sub lately. I will share some, that I hope are well oriented lol.

- I use my potions NOW. I mean, the game is starting so we are "weak" and since we would like to actually beat content, I prefer to use the potions now UNTIL I am strong enough to beat what I need to beat. I use them for the tree stones in order to be able to unlock the nodes and upgrade them. I could also use them for memory farming. The same for my metal slime tickets.

- I send the drones to the second area, since that one provides the gear item that is needed to upgrade them.

- I try to not use all the shrines and trials items (the dragonlord, knight aberrant nor dragon) so quickly, mainly because if every week we are getting stronger, that means that we can score higher numbers, therefore if you go all in now in say, Hard, you will not be able to increase much your cumulative score and you will need to farm more entry tickets, spending stamina in the DQ1 event instead of spending that to actually get stronger. So once you hit Nightmare you will be able to rank up those cumulative rewards in just a few runs. *We have 31 days to increase our power, so plenty of time instead of rushing"

- Everytime you "get stronger" try for a new run on the free unlimited events like Gaunlet and Gaunlette, since they are free, you can try to reach higher scores and learn the battle as well.

- You can do Gaunlet runs that acumulate the scores so you can get up to those 3M. I actually already did all 3 of them at work, where you just do a few types and let AI run for 10,000 points, then rinse and repeat. Since you can rank up more points at the start, I unequip the other 2 characters for a quick death an a faster run.

That is all I can think of, I will link a few more tips of stuff Ive seen in the sub this past few days.

- How to max Ad rewards

- Gaunlet Store swap priority

- Vocation Tree analysis

- Other basic tips

- DQI Event hidden feats

---

Anyone who wants to add more, correct some I might be mistaken or simply think differently, please participate.

Pulling at a time vs pulling x10

When pulling with tickets, that doesn't increase the stamp count, is there any advantage when pulling x10 vs pulling one at a time?

Where to find cogs for the droids?

Hey, I just did a quick search and couldnt this answer in the sub. Where to farm cogs to upgrade the droid? I know some in the gaunlet token shop but I wont be using my tokens on that. Any other way? I didnt see a way to check it in the game.

Thanks in advance!

It might be obvious but I prefer to ask and be sure. Memories do not show a family, so is it safe to asume their family is the one corresponding to the monster in the adventure book?

Thanks in advance

What is the best place to farm tokens to trade for keys? And if there is any other more efficient way to get them?

I'm farming the green dragon on hard but that's just a handful of tokens

Thanks in advance

I would like to play a game in PC (Steam/Epic/own launcher - also Android but is not my first option) so I can pass time while at work and that can be constantly interrupted, therefore it must be turn-based so it can be stopped when Im not paying attention. Also it can perfectly lack story points as I wouldn't pay too much attention either.

I have been playing Slay the Spire and Slay the Spire 2, also Magic The Gathering ARENA, as they fit the criteria, but they become quite repetitive. It doesnt have to be a card game or roguelite, as long as it stops and I dont have to remember story, its good.

I think board games could fit, but uno, monopoly or classic games seem more boring that STS/2. Any other more entertained modern board game in Steam is welcome :)
