How do I know which fan clutch I need, I’m buying from Schmiedmann and there are 2:

11 52 1 723 918 &

11 52 1 740 962

And on their website it seems like they both are used in the 1997 m52b20?

Also what are some brands to look for or avoid? Or is it worth it to put in the extra and get a genuine BMW?
