Help with Itinerary for Japan on February

Hey amigos, how's it going?

On February me and my girlfriend will be going to Japan to stay around 11 days.
We want to skip most of the touristy parts (but also enjoy a few nights in Tokyo), and enjoy food and the weather, which we hope it's going to be a lot of snow. We'd like to see some of the monkeys taking baths on hot springs and we'd like to take a bath on the hot spring as well lol (maybe with the monkeys? I've seen some videos of places in Japan where people could do it too). We'd like to skii a little too, see some beautiful sights.

We were thinking about going to Hokkaido since lots of people go there during winter but we're a bit afraid it's too far from Tokyo and we won't be able to see a lot of different things there, also traveling with train can be quite expensive.

Day 1. Arrive in Tokyo, get to know our neighborhood

Day 2. Spend the night in tokyo still, go to some theme bars

Day 3. Travel somewhere to stay at a ryokan + onsen (tattoo friendly)

Day 4. Stay at a ryokan + onsen (tattoo friendly)

Day 5. See them monkeys in Nagano

Day 6. Wander around in Nagano (castle)

Day 7. Nagano

Day 8. ?????

Help me out guys

What if the US never nuked Japan?

Japan had pretty much already lost the war by the time of the nuke and already wanted a negotiated surrender. What would happen if both nukes were never dropped?
