Taken apart my rims and giving them a refresh

so I bought my XRV unseen... was my first mistake because I overpayed 🙈 😂

when I got the bike it spluttered POPED and BANGED... to say it was running terribly is an understatement 😂 😂

after some inspecting I found that it just.. Didn't have a fuel pump 🙈 so after lots of googling I got a Facet 60104 recommended by other XRV owners

with that in and lots of rewiring (the previous owners butchered the pump wires 💀)
turned it over and.. still popping and spluttering

next step was new spark plugs.. they went on and it WORKED!!
BUT for 30 mins.. then went straight back to popping.. and backfiring

next was the carbs!

carbs came out and we noticed the choke was cooked.. broken and stuck open
Many owners never use the chokes on them so I chose to pull the cables and bolt in the choke plungers on both sides of the carbs

Carbs were remarkably clean inside!
but alas when carbs in.. the issue still remained

with testing we came to the conclusion that the front cylinder was not firing correctly

and with googling I was recommended to clean the front coils earth leakage and with that... annoyingly.. it worked fine afterwards! 😂

now I'm still not convinced but its working for now..
got new plastics on.. took out some really shoddy wiring and cleaned her up!
