I am trailering a Vanguard 15 4 hrs north tomorrow and am strapping the mast to the roof racks on my SUV. I’ve never done this sort of trip before. Would anyone with experience recommend stripping the mast of its hardware, or is tying all components (stays, halyards) to the base more advisable? Thanks in advance.
Bought a used 2020 Momentum. The Lexus dealership I bought it from replaced the passenger side headlight before the sale. I noticed after the fact that the high beam lights are not aligned with the original driver side headlight. Volvo said they “cannot program” the replacement headlight unit because it is missing a QR code sticker and that a replacement will cost $4k USD.
Any suggestions here?
Does anyone know if the vehicle requires programming if one were to install a wiring harness for trailering? The dealer quoted me $4k for total install, UHaul quoted $950…Parts are $580 with informative guides readily available online. Curious to know your thoughts on this, especially if you have installed one yourself. Thanks in advance.
I recently bought a Vanguard 15 that I'm excited to sail with my wife and two sons. I see that this once was a thriving fleet that attracted a variety of sailors. Looking around the internet, though, I see the fleet website is down and its Instagram page and Facebook group are dead. Surely there are still owners out there. What's the latest on this fleet?
I am contemplating installing a Stealth Hitch + Wiring on my 2020 XC90. Curious to know if anyone has installed a unit on their vehicle on their own and done the programming to enable towing using an OBD2? How'd the process go? Thanks in advance.
Previous owner really gnarled up the bottom edge of this daggerboard. Can anyone suggest how I go about re-glassing it while maintaining its original shape?
