Alysa visited with more than 20 patients, took photos with staff and even let us record her reading children's books, so hospitalized kids can watch her read their favorite stories for years to come on our television station at bedtime. Alysa's sunny smile and jubilant spirit captured everyone's hearts! One patient who hadn't spoken in days following her surgery even sat up in bed and interacted with Alysa, stunning (and delighting) her care team.
