Heat flashes, not menopause
Hey! I'm a daily smoker for about 10 years and recently I've cut back so that most days (more or less 5 days / week) i'm only smoking at bedtime. The past few months when I take a hit (i use a standard bong), many times I'll experience a hot flash directly after / instantaneously. I'm in my 20s, so certainly not menopause related.
symptoms include sudden sweating on my entire body, a strong blushing feeling similar to when your face blushes from embarassment, but affects my whole body (i don't actually get red, it's just a comparable sensation to facial blushing) they last about 2 to 4 minutes.
when I looked this up, I was shocked that I could not find any online info about hot flashes not related to menopause. when I google the cause of hot flashes in general, results all talk about estrogen levels being disturbed by menopause.
Someone point me in the right direction to look into why this happens please. it doesn't bother me too much because it quickly resolves, but i'm very curious about why it's occurring . thanks!
