I am taking a break in my third (audio) circumnavigation to read (listen to) “This Thing of Darkness” by Harry Thompson. It’s historical fiction based on the journeys of the Beagle, with Charles Darwin aboard for the second one.

I’m enjoying it a lot and I’d think fans of POB’s series would enjoy as well.

Others who have read it, what did you think?
