I got tired of juggling fusion spreadsheets, drop tables and rank guides, so I built them into one live FM overlay
Every Forbidden Memories mod eventually sends me through the same routine:
Alt-tab to a fusion spreadsheet
Search the current opponent’s drop list
Check which rank can drop the card I want
Return to the duel and try to remember everything
So I built YGOverlay, a Windows overlay that puts those answers next to the game.
What already works in the current build:
• Live Fusions: reads your current hand and updates the available fusion options as it changes
• Farm tab: detects your current opponent during the duel
• Rank projection: shows your projected rank and score, then highlights the relevant S/A-TEC, B/C/D or S/A-POW pool
• Drop tables: shows every possible card, its drop chance and card type in an alphabetical list
• Trunk tracking: shows how many copies of each card you currently have in your chest
• Planning mode: lets you manually select a duelist before starting the farm
• Mod-aware data: uses the fusion and drop tables from the selected or imported PS1 mod, including support for The Last Memories’ drop format
The fusion assistant works with PS1/ePSXe and Forbidden Legacy. The Farm tab is currently available only for PS1/ePSXe.
The rank projection is still marked as beta while I finish validating every scoring counter in live gameplay.
This isn’t a sales post, and access isn’t open yet. I want blunt feedback from people who actually play and farm Forbidden Memories.
