Hey r/Backpacking, wanted to share my recent solo overnight trip up Half Dome. I picked up a wilderness permit, hiked up past Nevada Falls in the afternoon shade, set up a small hammock camp, and hit the subdome and cables early the next morning before the crowds hit.
