Massively Underperformed Pythagorean W-L

Only started playing OOTP about a month ago (played FM forever), so forgive me if I'm missing something important. Point is, the team was predicted to finish first in the division and on Sep. 29th we've officially been eliminated from playoff contention, underperforming the pythagorean win-loss by -9.

Team has 6th best runs scored and BA, 7th in defensive efficiency, and 3rd in ERA. Not a single pitcher in my bullpen has a FIP over 100. I have 3 really great young hitters that are carrying the team, and about 2 years before they start getting big arbitration money so I want to at least make the playoffs before I have to start trading them away.

Did the RNG just get me this season? Is this a classic initiation to the game or am I doing something massively wrong?

Help with university OneDrive on Ubuntu

I posted about a month ago on r/selfhosted looking for help on getting onedrive on an Ubuntu OS working (https://www.reddit.com/r/selfhosted/s/OB4FrXYH2q); the problem being my university won't authorize any third party client access to my Microsoft account. So none of the usual tools will work, and the native gvfs account link won't actually let me edit file permissions of any of the files, or sometimes edit them at all. All of the comments pretty much suggested that I use a third party tool or a paid service.

I have a little PC at home I have proxmox on and use for all the usual suspects, so I was thinking I might be able to run a windows server VM, run the official onedrive client on that, and connect it to a self hosted cloud file share that I connect to my laptop instead. I can set up a cloudflare tunnel to access (I really really don't want to just open up a port willy nilly) it, and have already done this process to access a local gitlab instance.

My questions to you all: Does that seem like a reasonable thing to do, has anyone done something similar before, and what are some of the pitfalls and problems I need to keep an eye out for?

OneDrive Sync on Linux

Hey, this is a bit of a reach but I'm asking to see if anyone might have creative solutions to my problem.

I work at a university as a PhD student, and am starting a project that will be generating a decent bit chunk data. So, I need a place to store it all. Ideally my lab would be able to fund me getting a NAS to have the data locally stored, but money for my area of research right now is ... actively being removed. But, the university does give onedrive accounts to all of the students with a 10TB limit.

The problem is that the computer I'm on for work uses Ubuntu 26.04, and the native gvfs OneDrive sync doesn't allow me to really make any edits to the files, only see them. My work computer is also only a laptop with 250GB of storage, very much not enough to have everything on. I've tried both setting up an rclone sync, and using the widely accepted open-sourced repo (https://github.com/abraunegg/onedrive), but the university will not allow me to give either one access permissions to my account. I've tried working with OIT and they always come back and say they won't approve anything, I have to manually upload and download using the web interface. That's not really an option for large amounts of data access.

What I do have is a couple little mini-pcs as a homelab that run all the usual homelab services. My question to you all is: Is there a creative way someone can think of where I can leverage those mini-pcs to help me sync a university onedrive account with my work machine (Ubuntu 26.04)?

I'm pretty stumped right now, so any help is appreciated. Thanks!
