I’m a somewhat old player (joined 2017) and due to the whole situation with crowns and other poor choices of in game implements by LKWD , I haven’t really played any events since Xmas 2022 so I’m completely out of the loop. I have gradually started getting back into Avakin (just making outfits, doing fashion contests, decorating apts. not anything fancy lol) and of course it’s time for Halloween, which used to be pretty good back in the day. This year’s event is godawful of course, but that makes it fit the state of the game, so I actually have no complaints for that! Anyway I was going through my apartments earlier today and I stumbled upon the Easter Maze apartment, and I immediately got flashbacks of the Halloween Haunted Maze, which was by far my favorite activity of most seasonal Avakin events. I did a small research and it seems like it hasn’t made a return since 2022? Have they mentioned anything about bringing it back this year maybe? (Wishful thinking haha) it gave such a spooky vibe to the game and it was fun and engaging.

I just randomly stumbled upon an old tik tok and realized that we got the new character update, exactly three years ago, on Tuesday June 20th 2023.

That was an interesting day to say the least. The controversies around the body types kept my server up with heated arguments for weeks lol. And I remember that here on the sub we were all posting tributes to our old characters saying goodbye 😪

Took me ages to get used to my new character, and even today I feel like something is missing from the design (Cant really put my finger on as to what) but they have come a long way and I now love my character, same way I loved all the models before the new ones. I have to admit though that I did expect more updates on/around them in those 3 years, than what we got, only because SSO had hinted towards more updates in the future. I think the most promising one so far is the new witchy eyes they added. And also the fact that they sometimes give out free character customization tickets with traiblazer tracks because that maybe hints towards more actual updates/upgrades coming sooner rather than later?

Personally I would love to see more body types being implemented eventually, and also an option for height and more skin colors (including some weird/crazy ones). I’m actually excited for the future of our characters and I think they have great potential.
