ISO Mattress in a Box Suggestions to move easily
Hello! I'm sorely in need of some recommendations. I have a very comfortable bed right now, but I'm moving in the next month. My new room has such a small staircase leading to it that most of my furniture will need to be disassembled and then reassembled to fit in the room. My current bed will absolutely not fit (I've been advised by the landlord even getting a single bed through is tough).
So, I'm here looking for some recommendations, knowledge, and experience. I'm 5'10 and 180lbs, sleep mostly on my side (sometimes on my back). I'm based in Canada, and see these brands commonly recommended: Endy, Douglas, and Casper.
I have no qualms about purchasing a nice mattress to sleep well (ideally within $600-700 CAD range, but could be convinced of $1000), but I'm afraid of getting a nice mattress and then consequently ruining it in a year when I try to move the mattress back out of the room.
Memory foam looks like it would be the one to go with (easier to compress than mattresses with springs?), but a hybrid bed is also catching my eye.
What comfortable-enough mattress would be the easiest to fold up and move again (without damaging it)?
