Scary side effects

I'm having trouble asking a doctor because it's Sunday, otherwise I wouldn't be doing it here. I've been taking 35 mg of lisdexamfetamine for my ADHD for about a week, and yesterday I started taking venlafaxine for depression and anxiety. The first dose was 35.7 mg.

At night (early morning) I was with my eyes closed but not yet asleep and suddenly I felt my body activate, I was no longer relaxed/about to sleep. My heart started racing, and I had a "distance" feeling in my eyes, I was seeing patterns. I started to get scared, so I opened my eyes. I began to sweat, it felt like my skin was burning, but I wasn't actually hot. I saw colors more like "neon", my body felt weak, and I had some tinnitus. I felt like I was going to faint, but without the blurred vision, nausea, or shortness of breath that you get when you're about to faint. I was like that for hours, around 2. The symptoms came in waves, and I was terrified to move because any movement would bring that feeling back. I thought I was going to die. Should I take today's dose? Or wait until tomorrow to ask a doctor? Is this normal? I don't even know if it's the medication itself or an interaction between the two.
