The deck is ending but still being advertised?

Exactly what the title says. Catching up on some newer CJ episodes (released after the Deck announcement), specifically the Joyce LePage two-parter.

So if these episodes came out after the announcement of the Deck ending, why is the ad CJ is running at the beginning about the Deck?

Was there a reversal I missed?

Had my first crow visitor today! I’ve been putting out kibble, mealworms and whole peanuts for a couple days now and we have our first guest. So excited!

Making crow calls? And other call questions

Hi! I’m new to the world of Corvids (but not birding in general), so I had a couple quick questions about making/reproducing crow calls?

  1. if you’re not that confident in your own ability (me), would a YouTube video / artificial bird call scare away new murders due to their territorial-ness?

  2. do you find it helpful to have a specific call/noise during your feeding routine?

  3. I know crow language is incredibly complex. Did you have a dictionary or just pay attention, and learn as you go?

Many thanks!

Shift based income - savings tips and tricks?

Hi!
I have recently started my savings journeys. I don’t have much of a budget because I am living at home making 12.50 an hour. Generally I work 15-20 hours per week, with occasional tips, but sometimes as low as 10 or as high as 25.

Any recommendations on how to build a budget (and therefore set 30% aside for savings) around these changing circumstances? Previously, I have been taking my “minimums” to calculate a budget and then any surplus would be split between savings and checking (10 hours x 12.50 + 0 tips, so if I worked 15 hours or got tipped that surplus would be my savings money).

I’m realizing this doesn’t really help me with my savings goals because savings payments need to be steady and not wildly fluctuating to build good habits.

Any help would be so appreciated!!

(Also if anyone has a Google sheet savings goal tracker to recommend, please drop below!)

TLDR: making very little and it wildly fluctuates. How do I build a budget/good savings habits. Also looking for Google sheet savings trackers :)

What does this sound mean?

Hi! Relatively new pig owner. I’m taking care of my niece Suki while my sister is abroad for school. Generally Suki is very good about letting you know how she feels including nibbles/licks/an occasional bite that I use to check in with her.

We were having tummy time (something she loved doing with my sister) and I made her a little fleece cave if she wanted some private time/space (panned to the right in the video).

I just want to make sure she’s actually happy! She’s not chuffing at me but this chirp squeaky noise is new
