Need help identifying weed/plant

Need help identifying weed/plant

Currently in the process of letting nature overtake my lawn. I'm in Maryland zone 7b. I've overseeded microclovers and have also identified other plants like oxalis, black medic, dandelions, etc. that I plan on keeping as I've read that they're all better than turfgrass.

The only thing I plan on removing would be creeping charlies when it gets cooler.

I've also found the above plant growing throughout the yard and could use some help identifying it since I don't know if it's overall beneficial, or if it should be removed like the ground ivy. This plant grows upright, and has tiny leaves throughout the stem at ~2 weeks after germination. Appreciate the help 🫡

Microclover lawn with ground ivy issue

My backyard currently consists of a mix of microclovers, oxalis, turf grass and ground ivy. Eventually, I would like it to be mostly microclovers and oxalis to minimize the need for frequent mowing while also providing some benefit to bees and other pollinators (albeit not as much as native plants would).

The issue is that there is also a fair amount of ground ivy which I don't know how to deal with. The ground ivy is coming from a neighbor's yard. There's simply too much of them to hand pull, and given how interwined the stolons are, I also wouldn't be able to pull the ground ivy without pulling out the clovers etc. I'm also not aware of any selective herbicides that will only hurt the ground ivy.

Are there any strategies I can employ that will at least prevent the ground ivy from eventually overtaking the entire lawn?

I normally wouldn't mind the ground ivy, but read how detrimental they are to bees despite producing flowers. Wanted to see if there's something I can do to help both the bees while also having a low maintenance but still kempt-appearing lawn. Thanks!

Overseeded microclovers: did I overdo it?

I overseeded my lawn with microclover seeds about two weeks ago and have been watering it twice per day. More seeds are germinating, and now I wonder if maybe I put down too many seeds in certain locations?

I used 2 pounds for a 2.5k sq ft area, but put extra sprinklings over bald spots like this one. Will this cause any issues in the future, e.g. excessively high microclovers as they all compete for light? There's a maple seed in the top left corner for size comparison. Thanks!

Maryland homeowner looking for some recommendations.

I want to gradually turn my lawn into one of those low grow pollinator-friendly alternatives. Has anyone in Maryland gone through this process and been successful? Seems like a lot of advertised products are duds.

Would appreciate any recommendations on company/brands that are successful, and overall cost you paid for the work (if done professionally by a company). Thank you.
