Hello all. I have a dilemma and no amount of searching and reading through posts can make my decision so I'm hoping to get some feedback.

I currently have a Camp Chef Woodwind pellet grill and a classic PK that I use in a 2 zone setup. I really enjoy heavy smoke flavor and my Camp Chef doesn't really seem able to get there even with a smoke tube running throughout the whole cook. I love the set it and forget it nature of the pellet grill though. I can get excellent flavor on the PK, but there's quite a bit of fire management involved.

I'm looking at a Masterbuilt 1050 as it seems like it might be the best of both worlds.

Does anyone have any experience with these grills? Those of you with a similar MB, is it common for them to have QA issues or parts failing? I'm trying to decide if it's worth getting the MB grill and selling my Camp Chef or just sticking with my current setup. The MB is in pretty good shape but the fan isn't coming on, which after reading about it seems to be a pretty common issue and one that is probably fixable. I can get it for 350.
