retiring my Cloud Alpha S, need a wireless upgrade around $200-$250 what would you actually pick?
so my HyperX Cloud Alpha S has served me well for years but it's time to move on and finally go wireless. budget is around $200–$250, I game on PC mostly competitive stuff, and I also listen to a lot of music so sound quality actually matters to me — not just gaming audio.
that said, my absolute #1 priority is comfort. I have a real problem with headsets that heat up my ears after long sessions and the clamping pressure starts to build up. had a couple headsets before that I stopped using because of this. I live in Lima, Peru which is pretty humid year-round, so that probably makes it worse lol.
I've been looking at the G Pro X 2 Lightspeed and the Cloud III S Wireless as the main candidates — both seem solid and are actually available here. but honestly I'd love to hear what you guys would pick if you were in my shoes, or if there's something else in this range I'm completely overlooking. needs to be wireless and available outside the US since a lot of stuff just doesn't ship here (Audeze Maxwell and Arctis line for example are basically impossible to find locally, otherwise I'd probably already have one).
what would you go with?
