Handling a pecan allergy living near pecan trees

I need advice

I live in a town that has a bunch of pecan trees and I have a severe pecan allergy. I thought that id be fine moving here because I could just wear shoes when going outside but that wasn't the case. The pecans are everywhere, from August to January my hands and feet have a painful rash that makes it hard to move.

I tried washing my hands and Benadryl helps but not enough to make using my hands effective for more than typing or having a loose grip on things.

I have a 12 month old who loves playing outside and when she touches my face after being outside I get a rash there too (unless I'm quick enough to wash her hands).

I have a roommate who I help take his dog out in the am (the dog will pee and poop everywhere if I don't take him out before my roommate gets up and mopping with how my hands get sucks). And for some reason the local squirrels like putting the half eaten pecans on and near the part of his rummer I have to touch to get him outside.

The roommate wears shoes inside and outside and no one has the energy to mop everyday. (Husband has chronic illnesses, roommate has chores trauma and he pays most of the rent and the utilities and it's really hard for me to breathe and hold things August to January)

I don't have enough going for me to move anytime soon. I am lost at what I can do, any suggestions at all helps a lot and so does words of encouragement!

This is my second August here and I'm suffering 😅

(Edit to ad a picture of how bad it still is after benadryl, did a close up of my fingers because my phone camera wouldn't pick it up showing the whole hand and it still looks way more red irl )
