Brief History of Altanistan
The State of Altanistan traces its origins to the micronation of Phoenixia. As Phoenixia developed and expanded, it was reorganized and renamed Altanistan, marking the beginning of a new era of growth and nation-building.
Seeking greater cooperation with neighboring micronations, Altanistan entered into a union with the Republic of Mevcani, creating the state of Mevalstan. However, following the resignation of the President, political instability and internal conflicts emerged, severely weakening the union and causing significant disruption throughout Altanistan.
In the aftermath of these events, Altanistan became a vassal state of the United Lands, a relationship that provided stability while preserving Altanistan's distinct national identity. Today, Altanistan exists as the State of Altanistan, maintaining its own government, culture, and symbols.
Current Goals
The State of Altanistan seeks to:
Establish diplomatic relations with other micronations.
Form peaceful alliances and partnerships.
Promote trade, cultural exchange, and cooperation.
Strengthen national institutions and stability.
Increase international recognition within the micronational community.
