Made it to the final interview round!

For the past two months I’ve been interviewing for a senior level sales-adjacent role. I have advanced to the fifth (!!!) and final round where I’ll be meeting with the Chief Revenue Officer. What should I expect? I’m looking for any advice on how I can prepare for this one.

Red bump on leg for a month

I’ve had this bump on my leg for almost a month now. Honestly, I thought it was a pimple and kind of forgot about it because I don’t wear shorts often. Yesterday I finally was like, “that’s still there???” I met with my PCP today and due to some other issues (it recently took me 2 weeks to overcome a common cold followed by 1.5 weeks of persistent diarrhea that’s still ongoing) they put me on doxycycline for 7 days and ran a full tick panel. I won’t get the results for a few days but curious to see if this tracks with Lyme disease?

FINALLY made it to the third round (I think)

I was laid off 5 months ago and have not seemed to make it past the second interview stage….until now!

Yesterday I had a call with the hiring manager and he rapid fired questions and I nailed them. I know people say if you think you did well in an interview, you probably didn’t… but at the end of the interview the HM told me he wanted me to meet with the rest of the team and that the recruiter would be reaching out to me via email to schedule.

So far at this stage in other interviews, this has never been said. Instead I was told, “the recruiter will follow up with next steps.”

I’ve been checking my email religiously for the past 24 hours and the recruiter still hasn’t reached out. I’ve already sent a thank you email so I’m not going to check in again.

I’m telling myself that scheduling a panel interview across multiple people’s calendars can take time, but just wanted to gauge what you all have experienced at this stage?
