Is he part coonhound?
This is Apollo who I’ve had since last June. The vet papers from his previous owner say he’s maybe 1/2 blue heeler and 1/2 they dunno. I think he looks kind of like a bluetick mixed with something else, but I’m not sure either!
A bit about him:
Apollo is cuddly and enjoys being active. He loves to chase and bark at animals (foxes, squirrels, deer, bunnies, or, any bird that is about crow-sized or bigger). He barks passionately at random cars, random men, mail trucks, white vans, bikes, motorcycles… we’ve been working on it. He is a very intense sniffer so sometimes walks get sidetracked because he catches a smell and forgets everything else to follow it. He appears to have sensitive skin and is always licking himself all over like a cat. Apollo is also stubborn, overprotective, food-worshipping, and, a fast learner. He sleeps on his side or tucked up in the smallest circle possible…if any of that helps 🙂
