i wanna know what made u decide that u wanna take med? like a certain thing that made u wanna pursue medicine

i really want to be a doctor, no doubt. my heart beats for those who are in healthcare.

however, i have decided before na i'll take a gap year to get my boards license and spend time w my family bc i know medsch is gonna be demanding. pero i suddenly qualified for a gooooood scholarship thats so hard to miss, and it's not available next year na

its full scholarship without maintaining grade and it hurts to miss, however i'm also grieving the
fact that i'm gonna miss a year w my family since i'm gonna live alone. should i gap year?

edit: after my mom died i realized that showing up for your family is as important as pursuing your dreams so irdk what to do
