Can I cut these branches?

Can I cut these branches?

We just planted this hydrangea tree this Spring so I haven’t gotten to trim it yet. The one branch on the right is making me crazy. Can I cut a few blooms off to put in a vase and maybe make it look less unkempt or will it mess up the whole tree?

What’s all over my rosebuds?

What are these little white things all over my rosebuds? Is this something to worry about? If so, how do I fix it?

This is my first year growing roses and it is not for the weak 😆

Mislabeled DA rose?

I ordered a few Gertrude Jeckyls and a few Generous Gardener bare roots and planted them this Spring. The plan for the Generous Gardeners was to put them at the base of an arch I bought. Now one the Gertrudes has bloomed and it appears it was mislabeled and is actually a GG. 🙈 If the labels were mistakenly switched and I planted a Gertrude by the arch when would I be able to dig them up and swap their locations? I’m so stressed about this. I don’t even know what the other roses are now bc they’re not blooming yet but this appears to be a Generous Gardener despite being labeled as a GJ.

Is this bare root okay?

I planted this bare root in April. I installed two Generous Gardeners (this and another on each side of an arch) and two Gertrude Jeckyls (one was bare root and one was a 2 quart). All the rest of the roses are growing tall but this is staying so short and squat.

I amended the soil and added compost and root hormone. I mulched. It appears the grass is breaking through the mulch but is that why it’s not growing so well? Should I be concerned? Anything I can do to help it along?

Downvoting community notes is supporting your recovery how? Most of the notes are holding you accountable. I want to root for her but then she posts stuff like this.
