I'm hoping to hear the thoughts of users in here - my previous post gave me some great advice. I've shopped around a bit more and waiting on quotes from a few local companies (one is coming tomorrow to do a site visit, which was the first one to offer it).

I kind of have an idea of price I'm looking for but wanted some expert opinion on these prices and to check if they are not too extreme / way over priced.

The strongest one for me so far is Glow Green, they offer exactly what we want - but the only issue is reading about them online doesn't fill me with confidence. I really wanted to go with Heatable but they are just too much.

Ideally we was going to aim for the £15,000 mark maximum (lower would be a dream) but I do realize with the setup we want its going to take it over, well from what I think from seeing prices.

Reason there's a bigger difference in some of them was because we want "more" panels, to maximize our roof space. Although some also increased battery too - which we didn't ask for. ProjectSolar, we WONT be going with, they have been the least understanding and just trying to drive a sale.

Skylar, I loved their customer support / person I spoke with, but was shocked with their price. Although I asked them to quote around 13.5 battery size, they still quoted 17.52. I may give them a call but with the current price I don't think we will get it down.

I would love honest opinion.

We are looking for 24 minimum on the panels, and Ideally Tesla Powerwall (purely due to my knowledge of tesla products, and what's coming in terms of UK power markets) - BUT I do really like the SigEnergy.

Do you think 13-15k price zone is achievable?

Also if anyone can recommend directly North Lincolnshire suppliers let me know which. I did try calling one recommended previous but there was no answer on the mobile or business line.

Edit - Shoutout to the member in here, forgot the name but I stole your spreadsheet layout haha! Fits perfectly!

Looking for advice on a quote

Hi,

We are in the process of installing solar on our house and exploring many options.

Currently we had a quote from ProjectSolar and came across this group because of the people saying they are expensive.

We have just been quoted for

26x Evolution Prime 505W panels
Fox EQ5000 19.68kwh battery
All the bits inbetween over 2 rooftops (house and outbuilding)
Cost : £19000 all in

I personally have costed things up and I understand the raw cost is £13900 roughly for panels and battery alone - which they have estimated with all the parts, invertors and wiring (between 2 buildings) the £19000 doesnt seem too extreme.

I was wondering if anyone else has any other recommendations for us to look at? and if this price seems about right?

We are consuming 7510 Kw on electric hence why we wanted a larger setup, as we have the space for it. Just idealy we wanted a slightly cheaper price. I have read people mentioning look at local recommendations (We are north Lincolnshire) but around us, companies either are not returning my calls or have extremely poor reviews which we are not happy about.

Any advice is massively appreciated!
