What's one makeup "rule" you stopped following that actually made your makeup look better?
I'll start, I stopped trying to make my foundation completely matte. I have combo skin, and once I started leaving a little natural glow (instead of powdering everything into oblivion), my makeup looked so much more skin like.
It's funny how many beauty "rules" are treated like they're universal when they're really not.
What's a makeup rule you completely ignore now? Could be about primer, blush placement, brows, matching foundation, anything. I'm always looking for new things to try.
