Setting up tariffs on the deye app

I need some help with setting up tariffs on the Deye app:

  1. if im not mistaken theres no off peak rates in for power supply in Philippines (Angeles city to be exact if that makes a difference)
  2. Whats the difference between Import and feed in? is feed in what we sell back to the grid?
  3. Are there import taxes and fees? if so they should be on the bill right
  4. Same question regrading export taxes and fees

thnx for the help in advance

Ac connection question

So we've basically decided with which installer to go with and they system to get installed, details below:

  1. 10 panels 620w (roof space wont allow more unfortunately)

  2. 8kw deye hybrid (going with a 8kw to mage loads better and if i find a way to have more panels)

  3. 16kw battery

My question. Is the installer is suggesting to have the main living room AC (2.5 hp inverter unit runnig mostly on dry mode) unit hooked to the grid port. Which from what I understand it would run on panels only during the day and wont run off the battery at night. Which I am not too fond of the idea, I was doing abit of reserch and found that theres a port called smart load? Which basically you set parameters on how to run the AC unit weather Ron battery/panels/grid i think.

Can some one confirm this and if they are running it on their system. With some info on how it works.

Thnx

Hi all,

So im very unfamiliar with solar power costs, this is a quote our neighbors went with and they are quite happy as their power bills went down to 0peso. But looking at the quote being unfamiliar of what components are needed the first thing that looks highly suspicious is that the battery pack is listed twice and billed twice from what I would understand from this quote. Is there anything else I need to be aware of when talking to the contractor?

Whats running in our house, would thus system be sufficient?

  1. 1 2.5 hp inverter type split ac unit

  2. 2 0.75 hp inverter type window ac units

  3. 1 43 inch tv

  4. 1 desktop pc (not a gaming rig)

  5. Led lights throughout the house, around 5 averaging 15w

  6. Fridge (its those 4 door ones have no idea of the size but its a inverter type)
