How difficult would it be to get a 6-8 week sit over xmas?

Title basically describes it.

Im a “newer” homeowner. One 5 star review thus far - have another sitter staying at my home currently.

Im needing a sitter for over the holidays for 6-8 weeks. End dates are adjustable, start date isnt (going for surgery).

Ive already listed my listing for a few weeks now, not sure if its because its too early? Or if its because its over the Christmas season. I took it down and listed it again and still no dice.

My summer dates got max applications within an hour, so im just maybe a little nervy😅

Anyway to edit details for specific sits?

As the title suggest, im a HO, and often there are time when im traveling where I will bring some of my pets with me. For example I have 3 dogs and a ferret. Im in Europe right now with one of my dogs, and have a sitter looking after the other two and my weasel thing🦦

Im wanting to post a sit available for november, but only for my ferret as I plan to take all dogs with me. Ive tried searching through the app
but just cant find anyway to select the pets being watched so to say… Is that even a thing? If not it totally should be!

Sitter handover… How to prep?

I have a sitter arriving on Monday - and he will be staying for 12 days. I then have another sitter taking over for him and then staying 33 days.

This is my very first time hosting and as such im a bit nervous overall + having had to go with two sitters to make it work. Has anyone experienced this before?

First time having a house sitter, how can I prepare?

I am having my first THS exchange coming up in 3 weeks! I am to be honest a little nervous.

I’ll be having a sitter stay at my house for 6 weeks, while im away getting surgery.

They will be watching over my 2 dogs and ferret.

What are some things I can do that are appreciated by sitters prior to arrival and departure?

Im going to have the house cleaned top to bottom, dogs washed/nails trimmed etc etc.

I plan on leaving a “handbook” if they need to reference any pet care, emergency contacts etc.

Aka - Tips, tricks, advice on how to be a good home owner😅 Would be super appreciated!

Ive wanted a ferret for over a decade, well since ive got no parents living with me to tell me no, I went and picked up this little guy last week!

I drove 4hrs to get him, and he has been absolutely amazing. He is so sweet, so playful, curious, and just overall such a good boy.
