Michigan Medicine Drug Test

Does Michigan Medicine test for thc and will they revoke job offer if tested positive? My friend has a job offer at a UofM Michigan Medicine clinic for sterile processing. He has a drug test coming up and is worried about testing positive.

He has a medical card if that helps.

Condo vs House Rate

I’m buying a condo and the rate is locked at 6.999. My broker said that it’s at 6.999 due to it being a condo. If I was buying a house it would be around 6.5. Does that check out? Thoughts?

Job Opportunity

I have a second interview at an appraisal company as a residential appraiser trainee. The pay is $15 an hour for 4-5 months, then I would start making 20% until I’m licensed. Once licensed, I would start making 35% and work my way up to 45%.

They said I would start with 2-3 appraisals a day, then 3-4 a day once I start getting the hang of it.

They also mentioned a 2 year non compete contract, which from my understanding so far means I would not be able to take their clients if my employment ends.

Thoughts? Is the pay/work load good?

Becoming an appraiser. Tips and advice?

I’m 23. Been working in the mortgage industry for a couple years. Been looking into becoming an appraiser. Is it worth it?

Specifically, I’ve been looking to start as a trainee, become a licensed residential appraiser, and eventually certified residential appraiser. I only have my associates degree, I would consider going back for my bachelor’s if it’s worth it to become a general certified appraiser.

Is becoming an appraiser worth it financially and long term?

I’m looking for a career with stability and independence. Any insight from appraisers or trainees would be greatly appreciated.
