Having extra colored buttons in the package really makes a difference

I am using the Pitaka Ultra Slim case for the iPhone 17 Pro Max and have noticed that the top edge is slightly loose. After I sent a video to their support team, they informed me that this is a normal design feature intended to make the case easier to remove. Has anyone else experienced this?
