My employer just purchased an exam voucher from Fortinet for the NSE 4 exam for me to use. This is the first time anyone here is taking a Fortinet exam. In the email there is this:

> Be sure to use your training account email address in both email fields when registering at Pearson VUE, this ensures the exam result is attached to your training account.

(Of course they only tell you this after you spend 200 USD on a code...)

On Fortinet, I have an email account with my personal email address, and an IAM account with my work email.

I did NSE 1-3 on the personal Fortinet account.

Now when signing up for an exam on Pearson Vue, they want BOTH my personal and work email accounts.

What email address should I actually use now?

The way both Fortinet and Pearson Vue ask for so unbelievably much info, and the way they talk about the terms for their exams, it feels like they would happily invalidate the voucher or exam if anything is wrong anywhere...

Third-party toners for my Canon i-sensys MF664Cdw ranges from 130€ (1300 pages) to 170€ (2500-3500 pages)... when on sale, for a CMYK set.

This seems weirdly pricey to me, especially as third-part 067 toner sets are only about 60€!

I feel like I would have been way better off just geting an ecotank instead.

I went with laser because of the supposed lower cost of toner compared to ink, and because it doesn't dry out. I don't print all that often, but happed to need about 800 pages printed this week.

I'm thinking about selling this printer now and just getting an ecotank instead.

I only really want duplex printing and ADF.

Thoughts?

I need to get two ethernet connections on the wall, next to the the network panel, to go into the panel.

Unfortunately, the pipes in the panel do not terminate in the room where I need it, so it'll be routed through cable ducts (red line in the pic).

I was thinking of cutting a small hole in the door, but would rather have something cleaner. Willing to drill holes if neccessary.

What's the cleanest way to achieve this?

EDIT: Solved! Thanks to this comment by /u/Stanskananski.

It turns out there is a bug that was present from 7.4.8 onward, which prevents Multicast Forwarding to function if CAPWAP Offloading to the NPU is turned on. Seems like it wasn't fixed still.

Run these commands to disable it and Multicast Forwarding will work again after the FAP restarts:

I am at a total loss. Nothing I do works. I made sure to follow the various guides out there, spent hours googling.

• WiFi 1 with Chromecasts in it (W154_Multimedia).
• WiFi 2 with phones in it (W091_Clients1).
• The phones should be able to stream to the Chromecasts.

The problem: The Chromecasts never not show up on the phones across SSIDs.

• I let TAC look at it for an hour
• They ended up downgrading from 7.6.6 to 7.4.12
• The ticket got closed with "Out of scope", because Multicast packets actually do get sent out, but no device ever responds.
• I even factory reset on 7.4.12
• Reconfigured the FortiGate from scratch.

Nope, still doesn't work.

Here's my setup:

• FortiGate 70G connected to managed FortiSwitch 108E-POE connected to FortiAP 23-JF.
• Multicast Traffic Logs shopw plenty of traffic between the WiFis.
• Packets sent hovers between 500 B and 1.9kB.
• But Packets receiver is 0 B for ALL of them.
• Multicast works fine all devices are on the same SSID
