First VH31 build. What I learned:
I think the VH movements, VK and other quartz Seiko movements might be the way to move forward to keeping building accessible to the majority of us.
This is my first ever VH31 build. It went quite well. Hands are easy to install. No need to worry about lining up the date change with the hands. No need to file down the stumps from cutting off dial feet.
Pay attention to the spacer you order for a VH build going in a NH etc case. I was not attentive enough. Spacer needed a lot of trimming.
Overall with some more experience itll be just as fun as building NH and I think these could save a good amount of people from needing to slow down or stop building.
I had no dials without a date window for what this buyer wanted so I suggested perhaps put is initials in the window. Buyer loved it and im actually pleased with it.
