Synthpop #2 with T8, S1, P6 and J6

My second attempt at a song, now including a J-6 which I've only had a few days so struggling a bit with it. This one started out as a sort of Fad Gadget track but soon went elsewhere...

Aira Song Master: multi-device MIDI song sequencer and pattern changer

I vibe-coded a browser-based song arranger and sequencer for the Roland Aira Compact series. It's at:

The app can control the T-8, S-1, P-6, and J-6 simultaneously when you plug them into a single USB-C hub or daisy-chain them with MIDI cables. Features include:

  • Full Roland Aira Compact Support: Pre-configured for T-8, S-1, P-6, and J-6
  • Simultaneous Multi-Port Broadcasting: Transmits MIDI Program Changes across all USB-C ports and channels simultaneously
  • Per-Device Configuration: Customize individual MIDI channels (1–16), secondary channels (e.g., T-8 Bass on Ch 1 + Drums on Ch 10), and target output ports
  • Tap Tempo & BPM Stepper: Quick tap tempo calculator and incremental +/- BPM controls
  • Step-by-Step Song Arranger: Build complete arrangements by chaining pattern steps, repeat counts, step lengths (e.g. 16 or 32 steps), and custom section names
  • Per-Step Device Overrides: Set different patterns on different boxes within the same step (e.g., T-8 plays 1-01 while S-1 plays 2-05 and J-6 plays 3-08).
  • Loop Song vs. Stop at End: Toggle whether the song loops back to the beginning indefinitely or automatically stops when the arrangement finishes.
  • Hold / Loop Pattern Toggle: Lock the sequencer on the current pattern with one click to jam, solo, or tweak filters, then release to resume song progression.
  • Song Management: Create, duplicate, rename, and delete songs with an interactive song switcher.
  • Auto-Save & Local Persistence: Automatically saves songs and device configurations to browser storage.
  • JSON Import & Export: Export arrangements as .json files to back up or share.
  • Setup and usage guide included in-app (including how to get it working on an iPad)

Enjoy (and thanks to PauerButton for the inspiration)

Synthpop with T8, S1, P6

I'm a complete beginner at this - can't read music, never played an instrument - but always wanted to give it a go so got myself these Airas with the aim to learn how to make a synthpop song. This is my first attempt after a couple weeks.
