24M Australia | psychology, art, culture & people who see the world a little differently
I’m 24, from Australia, and thought I’d give this a shot.
I spend a lot of my time working on businesses and different projects, which I genuinely enjoy, but I’ve found that being so focused on building something can make having a social life surprisingly difficult.
It probably doesn’t help that Australia, at least where I am, feels like a pretty shitty place to find people with similar interests lol. Nothing against Australians, I just feel a little disconnected from the culture here sometimes.
Outside of work, I’m fascinated by psychology, human behaviour, philosophy, art, ballet, classical music, architecture, history and different cultures. I love understanding why people think the way they do, how their environments shape them, and how differently people experience life depending on where they’re from.
One of my biggest ambitions is to eventually spend my time travelling the world while working remotely. Not necessarily as a tourist, but actually living in different places, meeting people, learning about their cultures and experiencing different ways of life.
I’d love to meet people from all over the world, especially those with different backgrounds, interests and perspectives. You don’t need to be ambitious, entrepreneurial or into any of the same things as me. In fact, I think there’s something really interesting about getting to know people whose lives are completely different from your own.
I’m equally happy having a deep conversation about human nature at 2am or talking complete nonsense about absolutely nothing. I promise I’m not as serious as this post probably makes me sound lol.
Not really interested in collecting hundreds of online acquaintances. I’d much rather build a few genuine friendships with people I actually connect with.
