My first official Anavrin kit.

I lived in Japan for a couple years and went to this street during the fall so I kinda wanted to go with a autumn look versus the sakura/spring vibe. Mostly a lot of edge painting, a few sign replacements, and I handwrote the Sapporo crates. The biggest changes were the two trees and the front where I added the mutliocolor leaves. I think the trees turned out well but I'm not sure how I feel about the front. I may redo it with bigger leaf pieces in the future.

Also sadly one of the led strips behind the main sign stopped working. They were good to go on testing but once I glued everything in place and turned it on at the end half weren't working anymore. It still looks fine its just not as bright as it would have been.

Either way a beautiful kit and I'm looking forward to the other two anavin's I have waiting.

As a usual lurker here I finally decided to post some pics of one of my own builds. I kept seeing people show their modded Jiu Fen and I felt super inspired to do something similar. I painted a bunch to help things feel more seamless and to avoid reflecting the base wood from the mirror. Added a lot of flowers and green trees. I saw someone use some dimensional magic on the lanterns and it turned out nicely. I usually put a cat in every build to represent one of my cats and the bottom turned out to be the perfect place for her.

I kind of wish I used yellow flowers instead of the purple ones to mimic the fairy lights used on the real buildings. But they had already dried down after I thought about.

Overall this was super enjoyable to do and I loved how it all turned out in the end. Its probably in my top 2 builds I've done.
