About a year ago our band was dreaming about throwing a summer concert to play some new songs and have a party along with all our ska friends & friends' bands. We worked for months looking for the right spot, going through venue after venue to find a good fit for the size, accessibility, and big stage setup we pictured, and were hitting a brick wall. We had one mid-size venue that looked promising but never fully clicked, so we thought out loud, why not just shoot the moon and ask where we really really wanted to play? A few phone calls and a meeting later, all of a sudden it was falling into place - on the date, with the setup, with all the bands we hoped we could partner with. A ska fever dream come true.

Now we get to announce that we're making it happen with all our friends! Bands, podcasts, visual artists, photographers, videographers, everyone from our local ska community and all people who are a joy to work with. A moment where you step back, call out, and ask for help is when you really find out where your friends are, and we feel blessed as a band to have this community to call our own. Ska is a beautiful thing and such a powerful medium to lift people up and encourage them to make the best out of the situation.
